The Holiday Season – A Time for Sharing & Caring
Hey folks,
What with the big day only one night away and my kiddies goin’ bananas for tomorrow morning already, it got me thinking of the children throughout the world who don’t have as much as we have in North America. I realize that even in our own continent there are thousands of children who won’t have as great a Christmas as most of us and just that thought alone makes me want to give back something in return for everything I’ve been fortunate to receive…
Let’s face it, what are the holidays for if not to share of our time and whatever small amounts we can part with to make another of our peers more comfortable, loved and cared for… Are you with me?
See when I started thinking these things it occurred to me that the time to put something together for this years Holiday season is quite short but that doesn’t mean that we can’t get something going for next year – and when I say next year I mean in the coming month or so. You still with me?

I was thinking that I’d try to get as many of my music expert friends together and put on a bit of a charity event for a cause greater than ourselves. I’m open for ideas on exactly which cause to shoot for and if you’d help me out by dropping your suggestions in the comments that would be fantastic.
I’m thinking that the event will need to be held online to have the greatest impact and the widest reach so a webinar or teleseminar of some sort is what I’d be looking at putting together. I’m hoping a lot of you will come up with some ideas so we can make this thing happen. So please… if you can find the time to just put your 2 cents in and let me know that you’re at least down with the idea I’ll get the ball rolling and take this idea to the next level…
Anyway, that’s my 2 cents for today now I’ve got to go and keep my own children from tearing down the walls in anticipation of the big night. Aren’t the holidays a wonderful time. Let’s all give a little something back this year… whether it be your time, your thoughts or your dollars – let’s not forget about the love y’all.
