Like being home and young again. Wes Tucker & the Skillets bring warmth and comfort to music. Reminds me of those cold winter nights as a child listening to Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
A true masterpiece of folk rock. The guitar sings sweet melodies with riffs that have been placed so perfectly that you simply feel them dancing in you.
I have to say it’s been awhile since I’ve had the pleasure of listening to anything close to folk rock that I’d listen to on a regular, but I’ve found myself coming back for a listen or four since I first heard these tunes.
No flash, no flair and no hype! Wes Tucker and co. have created a truly soulful piece of work.
Consider yourself a fan of real music? Do yourself a favour and really check this out. The riffs are smooth and all instruments give the impression of being married. One. This is what song writing is all about. True musical art…period!
